You know when you have one of those people/or places that you love so much you want to save it all for yourself and kind of don't want to recommend them? Well this is one of these situations, but I feel bad keeping her to myself! You'll see I've recommended her before, so I am updating my review after 2 years ;-)

I absolutely HAVE to recommend ShutterBaby Baby & Child Photography.

Sara-Jane has taken pictures of my two, since my youngest was 9 weeks old.

She is genuinely incredible with children and manages to capture the most striking of pictures, even with a 'terrible two's' toddler!

Sara-Jane is local and totally flexible, can come to your house, we've even had a photoshoot in the park. I'm not on commission I promise, I just think she is really special.

I am happy to share with you the pics she has taken for us over the last 2+ years, I've popped them in the attached collage.

My toddler was taken on by an agency when she was about 3 months old and I'm genuinely sure it was on the back of one of the photos I sent in taken by Sara-Jane!

Can't recommend her enough.

Hello there. Just wanted to add to this thread as we have just had some photographs taken with Sara-Jane of Shutterbaby of our toddler and newborn. I also had a bump shoot just before the baby arrived. In both shoots Sara Jane managed to get a couple of really wonderful shots that we shall frame and cherish. I wanted some "natural" looking shots as opposed to posed ones and SJ took that on board and captured what I was looking for. Word of warning that newborn/toddler shoots can take a while - I was hoping we'd be all done in an hour or two but these things take time so prep yourself for that. Otherwise can't recommend SJ highly enough - especially the quick turn around in the editing process and in all her communications. Very professional and especially helpful when you can't wait to see the pics!

Hello, I would like to also recommend Sara-Jane of Shutterbaby. My brother bought me a package with Sara-Jane for Christmas and we arranged for her to visit yesterday to photograph our six month old baby boy Ollie. Sara-Jane arrived on time and instantly greeted Ollie and tried to put him at ease, she set up her equipment and even helped to choose some outfits that she thought would make the best pictures. Ollie was not in the best mood yesterday but Sara-Jane was extremely patient, even sitting through two nappy changes, a breastfeed, recommending teething gel and trying to distract and entertain him at the same time as trying to photograph him. Considering what a serious mood he was in I wasn't sure if we would have many nice pictures, but Sara-Jane emailed me 19 beautiful images last night, it was hard to choose our favourites. She's obviously made for the job!

I'd like to jump in too and recommend Shutterbaby photography. Sara-Jane has recently taken photos of our 5 week old and 2 1/2 year old. Despite us leaving it a bit late, at 5 weeks old she still managed to get some lovely newborn shots and more impressively managed to get our camera hating toddler to cooperate with her fun and relaxing manner. We have ended up with photos we adore. I'd thoroughly recommend.

Sarah-Jane managed to take some superb photos of our whole family, including two little people - aged 3 and 1 - who insisted on running off in different directions for most of the shoot in Brockwell Park. He was in an rather a grumpy mood on the day (very out of character) but from the pictures you really would not tell!

Another strong recommendation for Sara-Jane at Shutter baby photography after having Pictures taken of our 4 week old daughter. Sara-Jane was beyond patient when our little one struggled to settle and helped with the soothing and coaxing to enable us to get shots we absolutely adore! Sara-Jane even stayed a little longer to ensure she got all the shots and I'm so glad she did as one of the final shots of dad and daughter is my absolute favorite.

If you are looking for a newborn photographer I would definitely point you In the direction of Shutterbaby, we are delighted with the results.

This was the fourth time Sara-Jane has taken photos for us and we have always been delighted. We are now living in Sydney but thought we would get some progress photos done during our recent visit to the UK. Once again Sara-Jane has taken some lovely photos of our family in particularly difficult circumstances. Our 3 and 1 year olds were not the most compliant subjects to say the least! Despite this Sara-Jane was very patient, engaging and persevered. We are delighted with the end result and look forward to printing them so we can add them to the many photos of hers that already line the walls of our house.

We asked Sara-Jane to do both a maternity and newborn photo shoot for my second child and she was absolutely fantastic with both! She was incredibly flexible and cooperative.

I was really keen to have an outdoor maternity photo shoot - as the weather wasn?t in our favour, she was more than happy to reschedule a couple times, and finally, luckily, we got a gorgeous morning in Dulwich park to capture this special time. She even helped me select what we could all wear!

Newborn photo shoot was equally great- she stayed over 3 hours to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. She?s also incredible with kids! As we had some family over at the time, we wanted to get some shots with my 2 nieces in addition to my 3year old son. As anyone can imagine, trying to manage 4 young children at once is not easy but somehow she managed to get some great shots of them! We were slightly disappointed in the last few group family shots mainly due to kids getting restless..but when asked if we could retake these a few days later, Sara-jane was more than happy to come around again to take some more shots. We liked the photos so much we had a difficult time choosing which ones to keep! Thanks very much Sara-Jane!

I bought the session with Sara-Jane as a birthday present for my wife; a shoot with our 2 children (7 weeks and 22 months).

The set up worked really well; we did photos of the kids in our house, and she was great at capturing our toddler in all kinds of fun, natural, cheeky poses. She absolutely loved being in front of the camera. Sara-Jane also managed to get some great shots of our baby son, miraculously managing to get him back to sleep several times despite being jumped on by his sister.

We then went to Brockwell Park to do some family shots. Despite our toddler?s patience waning a bit by this point, Sara-Jane was great at keeping her propped up and managing to get some lovely shots of the 4 of us in a great, natural setting.

I?d highly recommend Sara-Jane. She was very patient, professional and we?re really pleased with the end product.

Sara-Jane recently photographed our family after the arrival of our second child. This was our second time using her which speaks volumes in itself but once again we are delighted with the photo?s. Sara-Jane was patient, professional and very calm which was lovely in what could otherwise be quite a stressful environment (a toddler and a newborn!).
