You're all too old, musicians should be taken out and shot at the age of 40.

Of course in 5 years time when I turn 40 I shall revise this ;-)

I have been following a lot on this forum for a while now and rarely post anything , but it does seem to me ,that

some people enjoy slating off Buisness people who are trying to make a living (very hard to do in this age)weather it be a publican or a band !

At the end of the day ,were all trying to make a living.

If you have the time to sit onfront of a screen allday , slagging off people , well it seems you have no work , and must be scrounging benifit,s . No one else has that type of time to spare, unless your the Victor Meldrew type .

I like and agree with Kingy,s post,s ,and would like to no when his band is playing again in East Dulwich.

I'm guessing you probably drink in The Cherry Tree? Wild guess, I know.

ETA: Would you like to share with us your definition of "the Victor Meldrew type"?

this is all wrong - wrong wrong wrong - face to face real - this is wrong - you know where i will be and you know who I am cos I post the gigs on here - it's not a 'forum' it's a bulletin board - there's the gig - take it or leave it - full stop

you would get more people to go to a gig round here these days if it was affiliated to a knitting/crochet club

Registered 2008 though, Da Manager 2013.

Oh sad, sad person that I am :)

ETA: And generally, the lower case "i"s are a CT giveaway, which don't appear in Dazzer's - er - case.

ETA: Though the use of "slating" is interesting, I give you ....

Well our next gig isn't affiliated to a knitting/crochet club, and it's been sold out for weeks :)

You seem to have a thing about full stops, Kingy?

ETA: And yes, face to face is real, so it's a bit hard to understand why you chose to call a pub owner a "knob" on a public forum, with no immediate explanation, and no apparent provocation save the mention of his pub on a thread.

ETA: And subsequently called him even worse, which I'm not going to repeat here.

Miller Anderson & Dr King will be playing @The Draft House on Sunday 13th October 2013 between 4:00 pm and 6:0 pm

We popped in briefly, and were amazed at the size of the band!

The place was rammed, lots of people enjoying roasts. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
