recommendation for electrician please

I'm looking for an electrician who can carry out some basic domestic work, and also re-routing wires for our internet connection.

Can anyone recommend someone they have already used?

If you are an electrician yourself, please respond by PM with your details, and details of how much you charge. We would expect you to have professional insurance.

we have just had a fair amount of electrical work done by Ed Shaw 07793 651564. He installed nice LED ceiling lights in kitchen and bath, basically rewired our kitchen for an all new layout, and did bathroom wiring. also added some new mains sockets. Altogether it was a major project. Ed did great work, was always arriving when promised and price seemed fair and reasonable. I will use him again to install several new lights in some other rooms!

I would highly recommend Dan (3rd Man Services) on 07870467207.

He did a number of electrical jobs for me over the summer - these ranged from fitting/replacing light switches and sinking plug sockets to installing garden lighting. Work was completed to a high standard, good price and great customer service. He is local (Goose Green).

We'd also recommend Gary Vu. We've just moved into the area and used Gary for an electrical safety check when we were buying (from previous recommendations elsewhere on the forum). Now we're in, we needed a shaver socket to be isolated and wondered why our bell wasn't working; Gary came that day, sorted the shaver socket, checked the bell and told me how to install a new chime (the only bit not working) myself. He's been very helpful, quick and friendly and we'd definitely use him again.

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
