Excellent Cat Sitter recommendation

I just wanted to add a recommendation for our wonderful catsitter, Heather.

She has looked after our cats for about 3 years now - taking care of our two youngest from when they were only a few months old.

Our cats absolutely adore her and we can't fault her care and attention. We recently went on holiday for almost 2 weeks (the longest we've ever left them!) and found them to be very happy and contented when we returned.

I still can't believe she only charges ?5 a visit, it's beyond a bargain!

Heather spends time with our cats, grooming, feeding, playing and also picks up mail and opens/closes curtains (which is great for piece of mind while we're away). The best thing is that we can go away knowing that our beloved cats are safe at home and that our property is being kept an eye on too. We love receiving her text updates!

Heather has her own thread here. Please feel free to PM me if you need any further info.

Best wishes

Tara

I would like to echo what Tara has said about Heather.

We recently went away for the weekend and asked Heather to look after our 2 cats. She really is superb and goes above and beyond the norm, sending picture texts with updates about what they have been up to and even bringing along some homemade catnip mice for them to play with.

The only problem is that I think our 2 were slightly disappointed to see us walk through the door and not Heather, but you can't have everything!

Heather's mobile number is: 07534 984 756

Like Tara I'm more than happy for people to contact me if they'd like more information but I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Thank you Heather x

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
