So, I have spent most of today building the bunk bed that my son said he wanted, almost giving myself a hernia in the process and letting him watch the DVD he has been asking to watch in the meantime. It is all finished and looks great, and just 5 minutes after it was all finished he says: 'It was a sunny day today, I wanted to go to the park and play with the other children.' This morning before the build I played with him dancing around and then he had a play date, so it is not like he has had to entertain himself all day,so I am pretty annoyed at his response. I have sent him to bed with no bedtime story. Rant over.
