Excellent condition boxed set of books. Never used. Would make a lovely gift.

Tiny crease in one of the jackets (see pic)

Happy to throw in a random extra copy of The Tale of Tom Kitten too (also unread).

Here’s the official blurb:

With twenty-three books, each presented in a charming white jacket and inscribed with a publisher's note on how the story came to be, this gift set contains all of Peter Rabbit's stories.

From naughty Peter Rabbit himself, to tidy Mrs. Tittlemouse and unlucky Mr. Jeremy Fisher, these stories will delight and enchant. The perfect gift for a new baby or Christening, this collection of beautifully illustrated titles is made for gentle bedtimes.

    • A good plumber - Ade Okoosi. He came to do some plumbing for a new kitchen at a flat in Camberwell, sealed up a gas pipe and put in some taps and a thermostatic shower. On another occasion he rapidly removed a radiator. Would definitely use again.  Ade 07961981944
    • Interesting the projected demand.  One imagines that you don't undertake this kind of investment without the business case to back it up.  There's one going up near a friends office in the City that is for 782 students.  OK, these are much closer to HE establishments but there still has to be the demand. https://dominusrealestate.co.uk/projects/65crutchedfriars/
    • A govt. research briefing (25 March 2025)  indicates that while higher education student numbers reached record levels in the early 2020's, those numbers are dropping. The rise was largely international students in postgraduate courses who are now being put off by higher university fees and visa costs/issues, whereas the trend for entrants to other undergraduate courses has fallen. Applications for full time undergraduate places in 2024 were lower than the high of 2022. Schools are closing and it is projected there will be fewer 18 year olds going into higher education. Very short term there may or may not be demand for this level of student housing, but a development of this size and scale and impact on the locale must be future-proofed. Are we sure this has been done?
    • Hi everyone! I'm moving house this month so would be super grateful if anyone has some moving boxes that they're happy to part with. I could collect any day from Friday (11th April). Please reach out if you can help, thank you!
