Seriously though, I hope nobody was harmed in the making of that, because they must have veered right across the road before crashing, and only just avoided the tree.

They must have been going pretty fast.

Asleep at the wheel? Medical issue? Drunk? Young or stupid people messing about with a stolen car? (Apologies to young people, I know most of you aren't reckless).

It was lucky they didn't hit something going in the opposite direction ( at least, I assume/hope they didn't) before they went over the wall.

But I'm confused, because the broken part of the wall is in front of the car. Did they reverse in an attempt to get the car off the wall, and then made things worse? 😮

I have just noticed that this is being discussed on another thread ( though not the possible art installation aspect 🤣)

But also, I took it as an actual incident, but apparently it's a joke. Duh.

And not even 1 April.

Anyway, I'm glad nobody was hurt. Clearly I'm very gullible, and very bad at identifying fake photos.

Sue - I promise you that was no fake photo, not sure that I'm even capable to that.  I took the picture about 12:15 today.

Oh ok, I'm even more confused now then.

Have you seen the discussion on the dangerous driving thread?

    • Apart from being yet another eyesore in our lovely park the track is going to be 5 metres wide, that’s wider than my living room! By the time this is installed it will be too late for people to object. This must be rethought, even more of our park is being given over to GALA. The council didn’t factor in HGV access when they planned the flood alleviation works and now they expect park goers to suffer further. Complaints might help, worth a try but needs to be before the consultation ends on Feb 10th
    • It is absolutely real, I walked past the site, complete with car and trashed wall, at about 2pm this afternoon.
