Clearly - time for an @administrator yellow card perhaps? Earl is clearly abusing the right to use the forum and is trying to ruin it for everyone else. All gone a bit too Mr Chicken for my liking.

Oh interesting. So you don’t approve of multiple threads? What happened to “We can create as many threads as we like - it's a free country after all”

Think you’ve kind of proven my point

I think Earl you miss the point, your constant deflection, obfuscation, nitpicking, messing with forum etiquette,  are ways to detract and sabotage, we all know that but repeatedly trying to rubbish points made by others, by almost any means you can dream up, in the hope they will eventually give up, is akin to censorship. Admit it Earl, you want to close down all objection to LTNs, CPZs, Dulwich Square and anything that threatens your views on those subjects. You seem absolutely desperate in your attempts to do this, even going so low as to accuse me of lying and making stuff up.

It all began to make sense when Rockets revealed your shirty post to James Barber about how local speed humps were spoiling your driving experience, many years ago. I guess you must have experienced something akin to a religious conversion around cycling and like many converts you now feel it necessary to cajole others to join up.

What has rockets ‘revealed’ or ‘uncovered’ exactly? Is this some weird, desperate, stalky behaviour again?

Honestly, talk deflection?

Ether you think it’s ok to have multiple threads or you don’t. In case you missed it, I’m the one arguing for some etiquette and illustrating my point with a mildly silly post. I think we can see who is throwing a tantrum (“you’re abusing the forum… treating people with contempt”). So calm down I’m just having a bit of a laugh. It wasn’t me inviting and defending multiple threads 🤣

    • Where to begin? I'm middle class and am quite happy for them to be used for information about voluntary/not for profit/non commercial events, they should not be used as a means of free advertising for businesses, small or otherwise, they are just not large enough.  Commjnity groups do not have the money to advertise to increase awareness of the services they offer. The examples you have given which you would like to see them used for may reflect your own priorities but the community of East Dulwich reflects a much wider range of interests and requirements. The  notice boards were introduced in 2011 when East Dulwich had already gentrified and their purpose discussed in the EDF thread announcing their arrival.
    • The notice boards are a reasonable size, surely there should be room for both types of leaflets, after all we are meant to be a community? Unless space is extremely limited, it feels a little divisive for a councillor to say private businesses cannot post. All businesses are important for the lifeblood of a community too, aren't they?
    • Hilarious. Yes, they have magic wands and can make the last 14yrs of public asset stripping disappear overnight 🙄
    • Hi if anyone has one pm me cheers
