We have just had the exterior of our house painted including original Victorian windows, front door and masonry. Alan Coombes and his team did a really excellent job and were a real pleasure to have around. They were very quiet (no radios blasting), cleaned up really thoroughly at the end of each day, and voluntarily took on extra small jobs with no additional charge e.g. repairing broken tiles, cleaning the garden path, fixing broken drains.   I’d also like to reiterate the above. I called Paul after seeing the recommendation here. He came the next day. Found a fix for a problem with the wiring for my fridge/freezer.   We left behind a Brickhouse fabric tote bag (white, black handles) with a sketchbook and pastels/markers/ brushes at Perks & White at Herne Hill station yesterday at about 8.45am. Sadly it has not been handed in to the Cafe or station staff. The drawings and sketches are a collection we have built over a long period so of huge sentimental value. If anyone comes across this would be grateful if they could let me me know. A photo of the sketchbook and bag behind attached (just before I realised I had left it behind) Many thanks!

  I was under the impression that a local councillor lives in that street. Presumably then, the council are already aware.
