Recommendation for Bathroom Refurb

I often use this site for recommendations so I thought I'd leave my own.

I have recently had my bathroom renovated by Lukas (07713 179759) and Sylwester (07852 336392) and they did an excellent job from start to finish. It wasn't the easiest job being an old Victorian terrace with no straight or flat walls and terrible plumbing from previous years, but they made it look easy. I have had a lot of work done on my house over the past 18 months and it's not been easy. Lukas and Sylwester have changed my opinion of the trade. They had a "can-do" attitude which seems to be rare amongst builders and the quality of their work was very good. I'm particularly pleased with the tiling which looks amazing.

One thing I found particularly important, because I work from home, was that it was nice to have them around. I have had other tradesmen work in my house who either make you feel uncomfortable or are difficult to deal with but these guys are smiley, speak excellent English and get their heads down and on with the job. Where they needed materials, they would buy these and would give me ample notice to reimburse them or provide them with payment, unlike some tradesmen that I have used who seemed to think that everyone has ?500 in cash sitting about the house.

In short, they provided a detailed quote and turned up and started the job on the date promised. The job came in on budget and the workmanship was of excellent quality and finish. Additionally, Lukas made suggestions as to how to improve the job which were gratefully received. I will definitely use them again on future work. In terms of price, they are not the cheapest out there but they are very competitive and for the quality of their work, they are excellent value.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I would be happy to show anyone the quality of their works if anyone is interested in using them for a job.

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
