nubby'smums
Apologies in advance for the TMI post! My five year old boy regularly has a tiny bit of poo come out without him appearing to notice. He'll then realise and say he has a bit of poo in his pants but isn't really bothered. Trying to not make a big deal of it as I don't want to stress him out but can't figure out what to do about it. Been going on for a very long time now, despite potty training very quickly and easily. Tried saying if you think its just a fart, go sit on the loo but to no avail. Anyone else had this to deal with? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35491-5-year-old-boy-with-pooey-bum/ Share on other sites
Medusa
Is he constipated? It sounds as thought he could have what's termed 'constipation with overflow'. Have a look on google. If that's the problem, increasing dietary fibre should help, as well as making sure he drinks enough water. One of my children had this...
