Hello,

Dan here I live on Hindmans Road.

I've been speaking to neighbours who have picked up some of the pieces from what appears to be an attempted theft of my car around 2pm on Monday.

The driver side window is smashed and the panels around the ignition put out of place and scratched.

Some have suggested it's by the same guy who has apparently tried to get into cars on other nearby roads.

If anyone has more information on this please let me know - the description has been a white male 'kid' in balaclava.

Thanks for all the help so far - I only got this car home last week so a very unfortunate incident.

Dan

P.S. If any particularly good value garages around please let me know - I have pretty much spent it all on buying the car in the first place

    • Hi does anyone have a golf bag travel case - that protects clubs and goes in hold of plane? Please get in touch if you have, willing to sell or loan for Feb half term. Many thanks
    • The busses in this part of london are a bone of contention with me. As previosly stated they are often full and several times I've been on a 185 or 176 headed to town and then suddenly get told the destination has changed and the 176 stops at Waterloo and 185 at Vauxhaul. The 176 used to go to Oxford Circus now I'm lucky if it makes it to the a** end of Tottenham Court road. The 12 is like an ice box in winter and a fridge in the Summer-but at least it goes central. To add insult to injury my nearest train service of the Windrush line is stopping at 9.15pm all week. Great when its this time of year one gets invited to things and I have my works xmas party Friday. This area is great..provided you dont need public transport or go anywhere north of the river Rant over
    • I would have been happy with a bus every 8 minutes when I was growing up.  I've never done the 40 but like most of the other routes in the area.  I posted about my favourite routes and was very excited about the increase of e buses.  Not a fan of the new routemaster, poor design and an experience indulgence by our last Mayor. For balance the bendy buses are fine, just not in towns and cities with ancient street plans
    • It's OK mate someone's obviously had a bad bad at work mate, you can take it out on my post 🤣
