I'm trying to get my head around why people think it's exceptable to completely waste you time on here. I give people my personal details ie home address/ mob nunber and you just never hear back from them.

You waste your evenings or afternoons waiting for people to collect your items for sell for them to completely ignore your texts and calls.

Or another great one is someone will ask if they can collect now then turn there computer off for a few days then ask if it's still available days later!!

I'm just so confused with people's mentality on here how people go about themselves on this forum and not one person gets back to me just to say.... Sorry not interested now but thank you. Arghhhhh!!!

Bit of an overreaction.

Sadly it happens.  I should have PMd the bloke who was going to pick up the FREE Miele fridge, I left it outside but he didn't turn up and came home and the scrap people had taken the compressor and left me the rest to take to the tip.  But I didn't.  And got over it.  Until now.

Please don't tell me I'm overreacting because this is the experience I'm having, plane and simple.

And @SpringTime it's just rude tho isn't it? you're probably a ground as man and your chucking out comment like a year 7 kid 🤣 be careful.

Hey - I can see that you're selling a lot of items - the preferred rule here is to put them all on one post rather than individual ones.
From Forum Rules section: "If you have a big list of similar items to sell at once (e.g. a garage sale) then please put them all in one thread. Do not create more than 3 topics per day per account."

You've attempted to threaten me whilst insulting me twice despite my apology.

This is people. This is what many of them  do. It's not just this forum.

Have you never tried to sell anything before?

And you seem to be new on here. Did you not have a read of the forum before you posted, to see how people interact with each other?

It isn't all sweetness and light 🤣

Unfortunately no shows and disappearing buyers do happen on the forum as elsewhere. Sometimes life events interrupt plans (accidents, early baby arrivals etc. - both have happened to my buyers in the past!); other times people are just a little too casual. I find that in life event cases the buyer is usually very apologetic and I try to accomodate them. In the other cases I growl inwardly and see if anyone else bites!! I have found that my stress is lowered if I don't give out my address etc until a time and date for collection is made - not always a 100% guarantee, but it helps.

As a side note, I'm sorry you were insulted. Personal remarks where we might be missing key information are never kind or helpful and best avoided!

Hi I'm actually dyslexic you wanker. You wouldn't say that to my face would ya?

No excuse for your choice of words though.

No, dont be tempted to reply in the same manner you have already done so with others.

And yes, I would say the same to your face!

    • Was it not attached to anything? It seems a bit odd to leave a dog just standing by itself, if not. Also a bit odd if it ran away when its owner returned. You would think a happy dog would be pleased to see its owner. Was that outside the cafe in the park?
    • Now that we have sadly lost several of the local and localish  places to buy plants, can anybody recommend a good nursery which is reasonably near and has a good selection of shrubs? Or alternatively a good place to buy plants online (though  I would rather see what I am buying, as I've had bad experiences in the past when buying plants online). I need something urgently which is evergreen and prickly and will grow quickly to fill a shady  corner space at the back of my garden where fences have become bare and cats are climbing  over and waiting for birds to come to the feeders 😭 I'm thinking a Mahonia. Alternatively, is there some other way of deterring the cats without harming them (I like cats!) I don't want to use anything like spikes or barbed wire.
