ClareC
I really have no idea where to start... Thank you Clare Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35435-any-tips-on-how-to-find-a-house-sitter/ Share on other sites
Undiscovered
How long are you looking for? I always thought a great idea would be to ask on the forum if anyone is having building works done in their house and needed to escape the chaos for a few weeks/months/whatever you need. Likely to be families and local? It's a win win. Just an idea, no experience of it (although would love the opportunity next March if that's when you need someone :0)). Good luck! alieh
We're looking for a housesitting gig for 3-4 weeks over Xmas and early January for my parents to come and visit if that suits anyone! There are often posts looking for housesitting (both wanted and offered) on the Residential Property section of the EDForum. ClareC
We need someone for the last two weeks of september, however we left ED just over a year ago now and live in rural Kent so the house sit is more of a country retreat than city break!! Car driver essential!! It's lovely here and very relaxing but sadly there is no local forum to ask these things! Everyone locally seems to be working 24 7 at the moment harvesting!! bluesuperted
Realised I'd be a rubbish house sitter though as am allergic to dogs and cats! Which I guess is main reason people want them, so unless ppl seeking gerbils or rabbits to be taken care of, we are probably of little use :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35435-any-tips-on-how-to-find-a-house-sitter/#findComment-671436 Share on other sites
