I bought this on eBay from a nice couple in north London for £100. It was her granny’s. It has beautiful detail a bit lost under old gloss paint but is still a full of character and lovely. The doors don’t always shut properly, but I just shut them robustly and someone with even basic wood skills could solve this! It is full of charm and the top comes off the base. I am only getting rid of it because my bedroom ceiling needs plastering and I need something bigger, so it seems the right time to let it go. Remarkably I got it upstairs with a friend. It would need two people to collect, and a van! I really hope someone can use it. I’m offering it for £40.
