Jules-and-Boo Posted Thursday at 16:54 Share Posted Thursday at 16:54 Seafood? How are you uncertain if there is seafood in the chocolate if they’re hand made? louisecameron Posted Thursday at 17:32 Author Share Posted Thursday at 17:32 Jules-and-boo I am sure you know there is no seafood in chocolate and that I am aware of my ingredients. I am also sure you know that in a home kitchen all sorts of ingredients are present, therefore, there is a miniscule possibility that some allergens may be present that is why I explained my chocolates may contain certain ingredients. Do you require any more explanation? 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353995-homemade-dubai-chocolate/#findComment-1687781 Share on other sites

Jules-and-Boo
Louise, slightly patronising. Also rather off-putting. there’s a reason people prefer to buy handmade items from a company that had had a hygiene certification, rather than from a neighbour who may or may not clean to standard Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353995-homemade-dubai-chocolate/#findComment-1687852 Share on other sites
louisecameron
jules-and-boo, only slightly patronising? I would respond but what you wrote is very obvious to "people". 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353995-homemade-dubai-chocolate/#findComment-1687860 Share on other sites

BlueLeaf
@Jules-and-Boo it's very normal for factory or restaurant made food to warn about any allergens handled in the same place. Very useful for people who have really severe allergies. I would have thought that doing this would be a good sign that you can trust someone's standard of hygiene? Anyway have you never eaten food at someone else's house or a local bake sale lol no need to be so negative! Petersons
Angelina - I don't understand what you mean! what is a fair question? what does this mean; "not everyone is “people”"? Angelina
Just what the poster said, that J&B question was obvious to “people”. Not everything is obvious to everyone and there’s no need for the poster be rude about it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353995-homemade-dubai-chocolate/#findComment-1687913 Share on other sites
Petersons
I think you have demonstrated with that answer that "Not everything is obvious to everyone" because I haven't a clue what you are on about.
