I have two sets of 3 vintage Ayleford Priory studio pottery egg cups (3 in each set). Makers mark for Aylesford on base. Very good condition.

Aylesford pottery was set up in 1954 by David Leach for the White Friars. He stayed for a year, teaching pottery to the monks, and then handed over managership to Colin Pearson. The pottery is still in production, making the stoneware goods that have made it famous for over half a century.
