Hello,

We have a beautifully renovated house on grove lane se5 camberwell (same road as Theo's pizzeria). It has 2 beds and a bathroom (with huge bath) upstairs, downstairs is fully open plan kitchen/ dinning area / sitting room with a fireplace. It has huge window/doors that open up to a tranquil patio/garden.

We are looking for tenants to rent from Jan 2025-summer/august 2025. We are living in Portugal with our young son and staying here for the time being. We almost sold this property so I am attaching the example brochure from the estate agent to give you a sense of the space (*it is NOT on the market and we have decided to rent for time being*).

We had it valued (rental terms) by Hamptons - and per month it has bee valued at £3000 per month. We are happy to do furnished/discuss with tenants regarding preferences.

Excellent Wifi for home working, tennis club close by, Zen yoga 3 mins walk, amazing cafes (grove lane deli, irenes, gladwells all a 5 min walk). swimming pool close by. Ruskin park 10 mins, denmark hill station 6-7 min walk from house. Incredible location for travel into central london. We adore this area!

Happy to ask any questions :)

    • Crikey, that's bad. Yes, from the photo it looks like it skidded. A private operator apparently, so not Veolia. No information as to whether anybody was hurt, but unless there are mitigating circumstances (eg the driver suffered a sudden health incident or the brakes failed, though it shouldn't have been going fast enough to need the brakes at that point, surely) it looks like a prosecution for a driving offence is likely? Do vehicles like this have some kind of technology which retains the speed history etc?

In 2020 she was happily working with young people in Camberwell at the Blue Elephant Theatre. Then she got Covid which turned into Long Covid. 5 years later she is Artistic Director of Alchemise Theatre, her own theatre company dedicated to children with Long Covid.
    • It’s good to see local councillors are taking this crash seriously, hopefully the police will also. The tyres marks left on the road suggest speed could have been a factor. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FaPQjGu7x/?mibextid=wwXIfr
