I can't recommend Gok's fitness hub more highly. I do personal training there and classes. A really supportive environment from other clients and all the trainers. Great fun. I love exercising outside - always under cover if raining! - with the option of inside on the very cold mornings.. I do personal training as I've had injuries with running but now, after strength, I can run as well but been able to lose my "muffin top" with the weight training.. My husband also works out at the hub and has noticed getting back his shape of younger years! Classes are great fun - really varied and encourage you to push yourself though everyone of all strengths and fitness are accommodated and made to feel very welcome. They also do HYDROX training now though not sure I can be persuaded to do that... hopefully will be able to do my first pull up unaided in the New Year! I much prefer it to an inside gym and the trainers - and Gok - are fantastic! -

Generally speaking 'life-changing' is normally a euphemism for 'physically disabling' a term which we now cannot use, but in practice there are many hidden disabilities (such as those linked to PTSD) which are actually life changing as well - where people are frightened of, for instance, going out in the dark, being with strangers and so on following e.g. attacks, which may not leave them physically challenged at all, but psychologically severely damaged and life-changed. But that's not what the police, or hospital authorities mean when they say 'life-changing', it's just they can't now refer to physical disabilities because they are now 'different abilities'. And they want to say that it's been a pretty bad time for the injured with long-term effects.
