trinidad
Seems to be a resident singing most evenings in Copleston Road. Even with the windows shut tight to keep the cold out, I can hear her. Has anyone else heard her? She seems to be using a microphone/amplifier... I have contacted mental health services, noise team, etc etc but nobody seems to be able to help... madarikatuak
She must have been sleeping in the evening. She started shouting around 1am and continued most of the night. Azalea
As a concerned neighbour, you could ask the police to do a welfare check. You would need the address. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353002-do-others-hear-the-lady-singing-in-her-home-at-the-top-end-of-copleston-road/#findComment-1685969 Share on other sites

But if she's just singing, how would that be a welfare issue? I realise it's at unsocial hours, but if the noise team can't help I'm not sure how the police could? Unless you could present it to the community police as a problem between neighbours, but she may not realise it IS a problem! Someone above said she doesn't open the door. You could try putting a note through the door? Or perhaps a friendly card along the lines of "I'm sure you don't realise .... but ...."? 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353002-do-others-hear-the-lady-singing-in-her-home-at-the-top-end-of-copleston-road/#findComment-1685989 Share on other sites
Sue
If all else fails, a white noise app is good to mask unwanted noises. Sounds like (no pun intended) you might have to have it on quite loud, though ....... Pugwash
In certain cultures, it is the norm to have a period of singing at certain times after a death. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353002-do-others-hear-the-lady-singing-in-her-home-at-the-top-end-of-copleston-road/#findComment-1686942 Share on other sites
