Support for Teenagers During Exam Season

Recommended Posts

Exams can be a particularly stressful time for teenagers, and I offer one-on-one sessions specifically designed to support students through this challenging period. With a focus on managing stress and anxiety, I guide teenagers through a range of practical techniques that can be applied before, during, and after exams.

In our sessions, we explore:

  • Breathing techniques to help them stay calm and focused, especially when anxiety arises.
  • Coping strategies to manage feelings of overwhelm and stress, ensuring they have tools to regain control during intense moments.
  • Positive affirmations to build self-confidence and maintain a positive mindset throughout the exam period.
  • Relaxation techniques to unwind and release tension, providing much-needed mental and physical rest.

My goal is to create a supportive and calming environment where teenagers feel equipped to face their exams with confidence and ease. Each session is tailored to the individual’s needs

    • Hello, Free parent workshop! Next course dates: 12th, 13th and 16th November Rose Education is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that supports families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in navigating the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) process. We also advocate for families who need to challenge their school or local authority.   We understand that the EHCP process can be complex and daunting and that families often feel overwhelmed and alone. Our goal is to provide families with the information, support, and guidance they need to secure their child's best education.   We offer a range of services, including:   EHCP advice and support: We can help families understand the EHCP process, complete the EHCP application form, and prepare for EHCP meetings. We can also provide support during and after EHCP meetings.   Advocacy: We can represent families at EHCP meetings and other meetings with the school or local authority. We can also help families to make complaints and appeals.   Training: We offer training to parents and carers on a range of topics, including the EHCP process, SEN law, and advocacy. • Tbh the dark interior of Vits and Kix is the reason I've never been in (though the food/drink offering seems appealing on paper) the very dark interior and neon sign feels a bit gimmicky and nightclubby to me, I don't want to eat in a cocktail bar I want to drink cocktails in one.
