Hi all,

I'm looking to sell a collection of my books & textbooks I used for university. Sadly I don't get a chance to read much of this any more! Hopefully can still be of use to someone.

Photo below, list provided as well with notes on the condition of each...

  • David Hume - A very Short introduction - like new (great for starters)
  • John Locke - A very Short introduction - like new (great for starters)
  • Hume's Enquiries - Third Edition - good condition
  • Philosophy - by C.E.M Joad - very old!
  • History of Western Philosophy - Bertrand Russel - good condition given it's age..
  • (small spine without title) Meditations on First Philosophy - Rene Descartes - very good condition
  • Philosophy of Mind - John Heil (this is great for university students undertaking a module in this area - more like a textbook) - very good condition
  • The Miracle of Theism - J.L.Mackie - very good condition (again, given it's age)
  • Plato Complete Works - very good condition (this is worth over £50 by itself)
  • The Conscious Mind - David Chalmers - more of a textbook, which I have highlighted parts throughout, so not ideal condition (or maybe it will help direct to the relevant points..?)
  • Reading Philosophy - various authors - again more of a textbook, with highlighted part as above
  • The Philosophy of Science - Lisa Bortolotti - she was in fact a professor of mine, very engaging woman! Good condition, no marks
  • Global Ethics An Introduction - good condition

Looking for £100 for the lot. Would rather sell as a job lot but will consider selling items separately if you're only interested in 1 or 2.

    • Sorry, I can't remember, I've been inundated with texts inviting me to have this jab, and I made the appointment ages ago. But I get them because I'm ancient, not because of any serious medical condition. Maybe contact the surgery and ask? Yes, I  got a sore arm with Moderna last year. I suspect it was Moderna I had this morning, so I've got the sore arm to look forward to. Hooray. I think it's Pfizer that you may now have to pay for?
    • Sorry to sound stupid-what is a BIAB manicure?
    • I had mine in Lewisham it was Moderna. It seems thats the most widely used one now I only know because I prefer Pfizer moderna gives me a sore arm (I think they call it 'Covid Arm') every time but it appears to get Moderna you have to pay for it or try and find a pharmacy that has it.
    • Cardinal Tagle - most interesting. Cardinal Parolin a safe choice maybe?
