Yes, and there is a great discussion about this on the South Dulwich Forum, apparently some people from Sydenham Hill are a bit grumpy about the name change.

Saw this first when out walking with my granddaughters a few years back.

We had already had a discussion about why there was a North, West and East Dulwich but not South Dulwich, and then we came across a map or sign (can't remember which) on a footpath with South Dulwich on it.

I've lived round here for decades, and never knew!

Now, there's West Norwood, South Norwood .... North Norwood wouldn't make sense, but why no East Norwood?!
