Recomendation for Nico the plumber.

So, I was traveling from Oxford last Sunday and received a call from my distressed sister at 11.30am that the mixer tap

had come off in her hand and she had no way of turning the water off. I logged details with 'Rated People' and East Dulwich Forum. Before I had any recomendations from the former site, Nico had left me a message with a 20 min window to attend to my job before his next job in Bromley. Before I had returned to London, Nico had met my sister, very much put her at ease in terms of a woman alone entertaining tradespeople and fixed the problem in a short time with

parts on the van. For a solution and excellent response time to attend the bill was half what I would have paid, in truth. Good job well done. Thank you again, Nico 07818 607583.

I returned from holiday a couple of days ago to discover a leaking tap. I called Nico, who was recommended to me by a friend and he came out the same day and managed to save my tap, and stop the leak. I would definitely recommend him and will use him in the future.
I would also recommend Nico. He returned my phone call promptly and came the same day to fix leaking bathtub drain and leaky sink and dishwasher. He's local, very reasonably priced and honest. I don't usually post here as I live in SE23, but felt Nico deserved a recommendation. I will use him again to fix my leaky radiator before winter. He gave me a price much less than what the boiler servicer quoted.
i would definitely recommend nico the plumber.he came to fix a leaky tap,he was very honest, friendly and did a good job, charged a very fair price,he also gave good advice.wish there were more tradesmen like him.i would call him again, cant speak highly enough of him.

Nico came and replaced a leaking, seized up kitchen tap, which I couldn't budge! He completed the job very efficiently and even had a replacement tap on his van, which was very convenient. Very good price and he happily returned a day or so later to collect his money and install a cover to the hole vacated by removal of the soap dispenser, necessary as the new tap collided with it. He is extremely affable, with tales of Kefalonia and the Cotswolds making his visit entertaining and relaxing!

He even managed to broker a possible sale of our house the next day through chatting to a new customer - if it works out before going to an estate agent the champagne is on us!

    • Good to hear that Farage and Musk are supporting this.  I can't post further thought as it is before the watershed
    • Good point, I was listening to a radio documentary where an American couple hired a cottage in a place called Ambridge, either in Worcester or Warwick shire (couldn't find the village on a map).  Imagine their surprise after they had let themselves in (key under the mat) when the owner came home - appears to be a scam.  So maybe check out Airbnb Vbro and similar sites to see if your place is being listed without your permission.
    • Does anyone know whether a bot farm could do this given it needs a postcode? Does it ask you to confirm your email address like council ones do? If it is a bot farm they seemingly have good knowledge of Labour heartlands given London hasn't responded as strongly as others and nor have Bristol, Cardiff and Bath!!! 😉     If this is all bot farm it's getting a lot of attention. • When you start quoting the magna carta you’re in trouble imo. Maybe step back from Twitter. We just had a general election. Labour won a landslide. Demanding another election straight away because you didn’t like the outcome and because a bot farm demands it, isn’t how our system works. 🤖
