Here's a comment I received this morning:
"Ben shows us that opening up our own vulnerabilities, allows us to have the empathy,
compassion and purpose to help others on their journey to problem solving to hopefully
make choices for the greater good. We need lots of Ben's in this world."

Ben's conversation covers his new enterprise called Cards Of Life, which is a coaching
programme; he talks about how developing coaching skills empowered him along the way;
Phone Savvy was a brilliant telecoms enterprise he developed while inside, which within
three months had established itself in prisons across the country then went international;
he spoke about SVI (Shame/Violence Intervention), a respected therapeutic approach to
working with violent offenders which was brought to a halt after ten years of beneficial
practice in HMP Wandsworth ... and more. Ben is full of insights and challenging aphorisms,
e.g. "Pain is just weakness leaving the body."

Ben and I talked for just over the hour. An hour well spent.

If you give it a go, please leave a comment, like, subscribe etc. It all helps to promote
these positive stories which ideally would end up in front of young people too.

Thanks in anticipation,

Chris

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
