Bug going round?

Yet again I wonder if anyone else has what seems to be some kind of bug (Covid test negative).

Runny nose on and off for over a week, stuffy head, feeling tired and low energy and a bit crap and a bit headachy and dizzy, but no other cold symptoms.

Just me?

I've been feeling the same on and off for the past week and have put it down to the muggy weather and thundery atmosphere.  Feeling much much better after last night's rain.

Glad for you, but I feel worse today! 😭

A friend of mine just told me on Facebook he has been feeling like this on and off for SIX WEEKS 😭

New Covid strains are around and not picked up by a Covid test. Wear a good mask when you go out.

Oh dear.

Thanks for that, I didn't know.

I will definitely wear a mask if I have to go out, but it feels like I need to rest at the moment.

At least I'm sort of glad to hear it's something going around, it's a bit worrying when you don't know what's wrong.

I had pressure headaches for a couple of weeks until the cold finally came out.

Exacerbated by weird bloating and feeling nausea, thankfully a friend also had similar otherwise I'd have worried more.

Treated myself to some night nurse, rarely do that

Same. For over a week now. Feels similar to a my last Covid infection.

Thanks both.

I have heard of some people where a Covid test wasn't positive until several days after symptoms started.

Also it did belatedly occur to me that some of the symptoms eg the dizziness were similar to the first time I got Covid, shortly after the first lockdown.

But it's a bit pointless sticking a label on it, it's clearly some virus.

Commiserations to everyone else who has it. Let's hope we all recover quickly!

Where I work virtually everyone has fallen ill with a sort of nausea/bloating bug with flu-ish symptoms.

This has been affecting various people for the past two weeks.

Sounds like what Castleton posted above, but different to what I've got.

Hope you all get better soon, it sounds horrible.

    • But for those who didn’t attend. Would it be helpful to give us a summary of things that were discussed and any decisions made?
    • Does London need more high-end, high-cost, high-margin housing - is that where the need really is - especially as more working families are being forced out of the capital because of the cost? Do the people who currently live in Surrey Quays need more high-end, high-cost housing at the cost of their leisure facilities?   You're trying to distract about the Pizza Hut - I am looking at the big picture and this is a gentrification trend which ultimately harms London and the people who live in it. Perhaps you quite like the idea of a £1.9m 3 bed loft style apartment - unfortunately for most that's not a realistic target.   The upsides tend to be reserved only for those who can afford to live there and, for most, those aren't the people who may have called it home for the whole of their lives.
