????
er....there's always been loads I used to pop down for a curry from Camberwell nack in the 1980s Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-109690 Share on other sites
timtim
I've always thought it a bit strange how many curry houses we have. But I doubt people travel from afar to have a cuzzer in ED. So thankfully no, I don't think ED will become the new brick lane. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-109697 Share on other sites
Sonners
Speaking of curry houses, what is Coriander like? I have never seen anyone in it which is putting me off trying it. Or is its clientele more takeaway based? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-109700 Share on other sites
AcedOut
Coriander is fantastic. I've not been for ages, but was wholly impressed after a visit there last year. Very fresh tasting food and a jolly friendly service to boot. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-109783 Share on other sites

Dodo1
Yes agree with above and if you are a valued customer once a year they invite you for a free meal- not bad eh? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-109800 Share on other sites
Ant
I've only tried Coriander once and it was pretty awful, but given the number of people on here who rate it I think I really need to give it another try. marge
Doubt that LL is becoming new BL! Brick Lane has a large resident Asian population in proximity which is why there's a variety of establishments - style, quality, authenticity, accesibility, price bla bla. Not sure that this is the same in East Dulwich albeit an enthusiastic market. MelbourneGr
Brick Lane is also known for its large Bangladeshi community. So no, I don't think Lordship Lane is becoming or will become the new Brick Lane. snorky
nah, apart from the Boho Gilbert n George & Emin set that now lurk around spitalfields with their mutual back slappery, BL has always been a destination for skint migrants migrants to ED are not penniless or escaping persecution and poverty.escaping clapham to start a family and buy a house isnt in the same league Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3511-none/#findComment-110278 Share on other sites
HonaloochieB
No of course it isn't, you silly bastard. I'm sorry if that sounds a little harsh, it's mainly down to your use of 'lol' and an emiticon for no apparent good reason. Not there's ever a good reason for the use of either in my opinion.I hope you enjoyed your meal.
