shazza76
Hi I know there are lots of gymnastics classes out there but I’m looking for a few recommendations please. My child is quite nervous and shy but very keen on wanting to try gymnastics. Ideally in the local area and not too expensive. Thanks so much. PeckhamNicola
I would recommend Synergy Gymnastics (formerly Southwark Gymnastics). My son went to classes for several years. They offer holiday clubs too, whether or not your child attends a regular class. https://www.synergygymnastics.co.uk/ Not gymnastics but also very good, trampolining with Beckenham Fliers. https://beckenhamfliers.co.uk/childrens-trampolining/

lucerne
GCK opposite the Lidl Peckham has done wonders for our daughter’s confidence and gymnastics. A much smaller club than Charisma etc which suits her well. https://www.gymnasticscalisthenicskingdom.com

HelenX
Can also recommend Synergy, in Camberwell Leisure Centre. Lovely coaches, and good differentiation for different children’s abilities.
Okdokehen
My two girls currently go to Charisma gymnastics . In summary, my girls love it, and have really developed in their gymnastics - but I have to say, it is very very expensive. They sadly don’t provide sibling discount like most / other local children clubs do and I’m afraid with the amount of “gymnastic competitions” they run and which there is a hefty charge to enter as well as a fee for parents to come and watch their children compete (!) it really feels like they are just focused on making money. sadly, even with the amount of money that goes towards gymnastics, parents can’t even go inside to “watch” their children learn gymnastics as there is “no space”. I’ve told friends the same. Seriously considering looking at an alternative option.
