Hi, I am Aminah - a 4th year Engineer at the University of Oxford. I tutor different subjects up to first-year undergrad:

  • Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry up to A-level (including any science subject for 11+ to GCSE). I can also do English up to 13+.
  • Oxbridge/University personal statement and admission test help for Engineering, Physics, and Maths.
  • First-year undergraduate tutoring in Physics and Engineering.

The hourly rate is £40/hour, but it varies slightly depending on what I am tutoring. I have cheaper bundle packages.

I have over five years of experience in private tutoring, and most of my students have increased at least two grades over 6-7 months of tutoring. All students I have coached for entrance exams and personal statements have got interviews! My tutoring style is adaptable, and normally question based. I have experience working with dyslexic, dyspraxic, ADHD, and other learning difficulties (also runs in my family, so I have a wide range of exposure).

Please send me a message or email at [email protected] if this interests you, and we can set up a call so you can determine if I am the right fit for you (or your child).

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
