Exactly... oh - didn't I say? This is the quote (if you swap WH for Totts) JD gave when leaving Upton Park. B)

Ince wore a united shirt whilst still at west ham

lampard constantly slags us off BUT he was constantly slagged off when he played for us and his dad was sacked with redknapp, personally I don,t have an issue

Defoe went on unofficial strike when he wanted out

Ferdinand, joe Cole before he resigned back, carrick always warmly recieved when they come back

Tevez worshipped when he came back with Utd and city!

I can totally understand the grief given to Ince, he clearly crossed a line you don't cross.

Less so Defoe as he was very young and his actions were agent led. I think the West Ham fans would've welcomed him back if he had re-signed for them instead of going to Toronto.

Re. Lampard, any West Ham player signing for Chelsea is always going to get grief.

Ince (age permitting?), Lampard, Cole and Carrick, is some midfield. Throw in one one of the world's best centre halves and a clinical striker, and you've got the basis of a very good side...even with Marco Boogers ;-)

Tbh I don't have a huge problem with Defoe and would have welcomed him back - I only reprinted his famous quote (substituting Tottnum for WH) after reading the fond farewells written on this thread to see if anyone (of the well wishers) would bite (Jah).

When he left he was (like Ince) young, selfish and ignorant. Now they're no longer young.

Lampard is different. Okay he got stick from a section of the fans for his dad and for being a bit porky sometimes but as soon as he left he turned on ALL the fans and the club and did so at every opportunity. He is an obnoxious whiny tosser.

We could probably field a whole squad of foreign failures like Boogers (Thanks largely to Harry)... Florin Răducioiu... Davor Suker... Paulo Futre... etc.

But there'll also always be a special place for - Joey Beauchamp.

What about Stoke City?

Be interesting to see how Arsenal bounce back from this slump and lack of confidence in the record signing (benched again today).

Their season could be defined by their next 6 fixtures: Everton FA Cup (h), Bayern Munich (a), Tottenham (a), Chelsea (a), Man City (h), Everton (a)

What have Sean Bean, Michael Palin, Richard Carborn, Paul Heaton, Martyn Ware, Jarvis Cocker, David Blunkett and some hairy blokes from Def Leopard got in common?

Well two things, they are all from Sheffield and they all support one of their local teams. It is like that if you are growing up in Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds or Manchester.

So what is that cocker Seb Coe doing watching Chelsea. Now I could almost excuse many of you lot for not supporting your local teams, due to lack of identity in modern day London. But someone who grows up in a proper Northern working class town?

Malambu using 'you lot' thing again, he,s the EDF Football focus equivalent of "I!me the only gay in the village" :) given that a fair few on here go to Dulwichh Hamlet and there are several Millwall posters on here you continued rubbish about !supporting you local teams, is a load of tiresome rooobish....
