aquarius moon
So did anyone see the controversial goal in the Newcastle/Man City game?I didn't & only asking because I predicted a draw & I'm sure this decision might have affected the result. Jah Lush
That was the UEFA Cup, Mac. The second time we won it. Tony Parkes was the reserve goalie (currently a goalkeeping coach at Spurs) who was the hero. We were the first British club to win a European trophy by winning the Cup Winners' Cup in '63 by beating Athletico Madrid 5-1 in the final. I doubt you'll remember that. Bluerevolution
Tremendous play by Blackburn, really great sportsmanship in the face of defeat (didn't deserve a 5-0 drumming) Shame Newcastle weren't so gracious in defeat on Sunday Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/60/#findComment-711924 Share on other sites

????
..this was being talked about before the crisis, we were targeting him before Christmas.don't think Morrison will be playing for us again either, something, not just Fulham, has clearly 'happened' round Chritsmas rather than just 'injury'. :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/60/#findComment-712061 Share on other sites

Bhoy in Singapore
Prob just the stupid Scottish papers trying to sell more copies. Actually v glad as he is shaping up to be a great buy and if he goes to the World Cup with the Dutch squad, will be worth more if we do sell him. Mick Mac
I have. But its been a long time since any of the top 4 English teams bought a Celtic player, so I'd be surprised if it materialised in January. If he plays in the World Cup for the Dutch then possibly a different matter, but he's certainly a very good prospect. Parkdrive
Don't really see any big signings in January, players going to the world cup will want to stay where thay are and get that competition out of the way before any potential move, Costa at Athletico for example. Bluerevolution
Virgil Van Dijk ? Nope, not heard that. Will admit that I don't read transfer speculation as I know "we" can make it up and press falls for it-can be very humourous to be honest. I wait on official news. Mick Mac
Rangers head for Administration again?? Will we ever get to play them again? Rangers players refuse to accept 15% wage cut following crisis meeting at Murray Park SHOCKED players booted out chief executive Graham Wallace's demands to accept the pay cut after the squad was gathered at the club's training ground by boss Ally McCoist. RANGERS chief executive Graham Wallace's shock demands for Ibrox stars to accept a 15% wage cut was booted out by stunned players after a dressing room crisis meeting today at Murray Park. It's understood the Gers squad was called together by boss Ally McCoist before he bowed out and left the talking to skipper Lee McCulloch.Wallace has decided drastic action is needed to prevent the runaway League One leaders lurching towards administration before the end of the campaign, despite a ?22 million cash injection just 13 month ago under a share issue promoted by departed chief executive Chrles Green.
