We've all become a bit blas? about manager's and player's comings and goings, but this gave me a real WTF moment from the BBC's european round-up feature...


There are reports that Paris St-Germain boss Unai Emery could face the sack after six months and be replaced by former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

There doesn't appear to be a standout candidate. IMO Giggs would be a massive risk, he's never played in a relegation dog fight yet alone been a manager in one. I would go for Gary Rowett, recently sacked by Brum for no other reason than they wanted a high profile name like Zola, even though he's been a poor manager up to now. Rowett fits the previous Swansea model of a young progressive manager, trying to play attractive football. If they go down, which I think they will, he will also have the experience of managing in the Championship...

Quite a few of the fans agree. Staying up now would be a bonus

Officially better than Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard. Sort of.


After 50 top flight matches:

? Dele Alli: 16 goals, 10 assists

? Paul Scholes: 16 goals, 3 assists

? Steven Gerrard: 2 goals, 3 assists

? Frank Lampard: 5 goals, 2 assists



And he does this for laughs.

      Agree and that is due to the echo-chamber nature of social media algorithms. Previously racists and other idiots wouldn't read stuff in traditional media that echoed their warped mindset but now they feel empowered because they think everyone thinks this and can easily reach those that do share the same ideology. Cast your mind back to how Blackberry Messenger was blamed for its role in the London riots back in 2011. We now have that a thousand times worse.

      Wow what can we say Steve and Nicola did a fantastic job on our paquet flooring. After the builders made a complete mess of our floors after a flood, not only was back to wood price very reasonable. They were very professional and listened to exactly what we wanted.  The finish was perfect and hardly any dust  and they kept us informed during the works. We would highly recommend this company. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   The only down side using Steve & Nicola is the lead time, we had to wait over 8 weeks, but believe me, it was definitely worth waiting for their availability.

      strong agree rockets - not just the kids tho - the number of older people who seem to have been radicalised is more noticeable to me
