Very odd scenes on the touch line during that game. That aside Skrtel was very lucky to stay on the pitch following his 2 footed lunge, just as well he didn't connect.

Spot on. Have to agree with all that. The unbeaten run was good while it lasted but there was an awful lot of draws in that run that really should have been wins. Hopefully, this loss can be just the shot in the arm we need. It's all part of a learning curve for our young squad.

Nooooooo! Thankfully he's too toxic right now, but if Pep and Ancelotti end up at City and Bayern, the cupboard of potential new managers is looking bare...

Toxic now? I can't think of a time when he hasn't been. I could be wrong but I can't think of a club he hasn't left acrimoniously.

True, I meant he's more toxic now than he's ever been. Let's not forget in the past he was still given top jobs because of his excellent record of winning trophies. I'm not so sure one of the big clubs would take that risk now after such a spectacular collapse and all he tother aggro like Doctorgate. He's made Moyes look like a genius...

He refused to go to certain clubs, didn't want to play outside London. He was no longer in our plans. Pochetino had given him plenty of time off to sort himself out a new club and his 'personal problems' that he was having but he just wouldn't play ball. He asked for silly money at Aston Villa who came in for him and wanted a ?1 million signing off fee plus a signing on fee. West Ham were close to signing him but he again huffed and puffed. He left a bad stink in the dressing room and we don't need players like him around the club so we terminated his contract by mutual agreement. It's not like we've missed him.
