Think you had 21 from 13 games last season which was followed by 10 out of the next 12.😯

Tell me about it. Just found what I wrote after Moyes was sacked...

LVG has probably agreed a deal in principle with Spurs that is just waiting to be signed. I'm not sure LVG is the right manager for us though. He's definitely got the experience and stature for the job, but with the expected rebuild I would've thought they would get someone younger. LVG will also be preoccupied with the WC, we need someone to hit the ground running, get players signed before the WC even starts, we can't waste another summer transfer window. Not sure how LVG can commit until after the WC. My vote would go for Klopp...

6 weeks and Liverpool are a completely different team with the same players. Now that's what I call a philosophy...

If you did catch it live, I bet you wish you hadn't bothered.

I watched the MOTD highlights today. There could have been quite a few goals though WH could have scored first. LVG is getting a lot of stick. He not endearing as such but he is rebuilding. Our defence shows that and Mike Smalling in particular seems to have benefitted.

I like that LVG gives young players a chance. Perhaps all he needs is a goalscorer and Rooney to remain injured.

    • Not sure why air quality came into discussion on this thread.  There are a few houses on the opposite side of the road closish to the South Circ (they all have longish front gardens).  The low level blocks of flats are set a fair way from the roads (LL and Dulwich Common).  A few other houses are on the opposite side of the road going towards Forest Hill.  It's not a densely populated area.  As said, pollutant emissions from motor vehicles have reduced due to tougher standards, for nitrogen oxides particularly since the VW cheating scandal with test procedures now far closer to the real world and can no longer be got round. The Mayor should also be congratulated for extending the ULEZ.  People tend to think about the outer boroughs, but previously the boundary was within the North and South Circs so any old vehicle could use these roads. Anyway, just pointing out.  Not that material to  the Grove Tavern thread.  You could have similar concerns about air pollution for any place on the south Circ including parks, and other recreational facilities which can be found along Dulwich common.
    • But there are loads of flats next to it, and loads of houses opposite it? What would you call " not many people"?
    • Not 100% sure but I think charity shops do t pay corporation taxes .do t get charged vat on the goods they sell.also get between 60/70% rates reduction not sure about rents.
