Sponsor logo apart that's a nice shirt - Watford's looks like an old Peter Schmeichel jersey and the Newcastle horror looks like it was designed for Chris Waddle.

He's on holiday, thank fook :)

Personally I would've given him another season to prove himself. He was played out of position, but so were quite a few other players because of all the injuries we had. I think the biggest factor for him wanting to leave was the attempted break-in at his house, which freaked his wife out. If we sign Pedro I think he'll soon be forgotten. He looks much more suited to the PL and LVG's style of play...Pedro Eliezer Fooking Rodr?guez Ledesma!

Tonight's defeat was disappointing if inevitable given the opening leg.

On reflection Bilić might have done better to have this 2nd string side play the first leg as well - some of the younger fringe players have looked promising throughout this truncated foray (if we can hang on to them).

Still, a nice big fat win up the Haemmorhates will have to do.

Jimenez now not coming (because of the Europa Cup exit) and Bilic looking at Borini? This is the crazy bit of the window - season starts and transfers still in the air for another 3 weeks.

Looking forward to the season whatever happens - can't help wishing (I know, I know) the opening day would see ALL teams play on Saturday at 3.

You're a bit behind the times AM. I've been making comments on this thread & the predictor one all year about supporting Swansea.

Very quietly though, so you obviously missed them.

At one time I did like other premier clubs, but after watching Swansea last season, I just fell in love with them and became a big fan.

So now you know.........

Who says you can't change teams?

Anyway, I didn't 'just' change teams. I lost interest in Millwall ages ago. Although I still said I supported them, I was more interested in other teams than I was in them. Half the time I had no idea who they were playing or who played for them. Yet I knew all the Swansea & Everton players. It was years since I went to a match and I had no real desire to do so.

What is the point in pretending to support a team when you really don't?

When they were relegated it was a good time to admit that another team had stolen my heart :)

You can't help how you feel. Better to change teams than go through the season silently supporting the Swans, but saying nothing because I'm 'supposed' to be a Millwall fan.

Come on Foxy!

It was hardly a surprise. You knew that Millwall weren't doing it for me anymore. Remember mentioning games/scores to me last season and I didn't even know they were playing?

As for being for life and in my blood, the only reason I started supporting them in the first place was because they were the first team I saw play 'live' after moving to London. If I'd gone to Selhurst instead, I'd have supported Palace. Chances are, if that was the case I'd have carried on doing so. Last year I was taking more notice of their results than Millwall's!

I won't be the only ex-supporter to move on somewhere else.

It's very difficult to stay interested in a team that have lost interest themselves, who play crap football and don't even care where they are in the league.

And who have had a long string of useless managers (apart from KJ) who haven't a clue how to manage them.

Am I right or am I right?

No you're not.

And if you ever want to change teams, it's fine, go ahead.

You only have one life. Support who you want!

I know AqM. ;-)

But Kenny Jackett was the start of the rot.. he really had not got the ability to take the team

any further, or indeed the desire to do so. Mark Mcghee was our best manager. He may of been there

when you were a ST holder.

Kenny Jackett bought the coffin... Lomas put the team in the coffin and Holloway nailed it down..

We now have a good manager in Neil Harris .. some new young keen players and a retention of decent older players.

The dead wood has gone.

Millwall is a good club that does a lot of good work in the local community.

It encourages young people to stay out of trouble. It's our local team. and that's why I would never abandon them.

We will be back. Stronger.

Millwall Fox. :)
