Fully deserved too. I'm glad they didn't go for the easier option of re-employing Brendan Rogers. Would have been a bit like going out with one of your ex's only to find out she's turned into a bit of slapper.

I believe it was performance related and they weren't happy with his record since January, two wins in their last eleven matches. He did the job that he was paid to do, i.e keep them up. Not an easy job at a club like Watford with a relatively tight budget and a small squad of players.

The journo Henry Winter's Prem League IX...

(4-3-3): De Gea; Bellerin, Morgan, Alderweireld, Rose; Mahrez, Kante, Payet; Kane, Aguero, Vardy.

Can't disagree with that, would like Alli in there, but who do you drop, maybe Aguero giving a 4-3-1-2 as both full backs like to bomb on...

Nothing jammy about Arsenal Jah. Spurs blew it, simple as that. They lost the plot as soon as Hazard's goal went in. Even MoPo had been showing signs of pressure by thumping the floor at Stoke and Chelsea. That's when you needed a bit of experience in your squad. The question is, will Spurs' young squad learn from it, or will it leave long term mental scars?...

    • It’s good to see local councillors are taking this crash seriously, hopefully the police will also. The tyres marks left on the road suggest speed could have been a factor. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FaPQjGu7x/?mibextid=wwXIfr

    • Before I switched, if memory serves there was some sort of thing on Thames Water's website which you could use to determine whether or not you would be better off with a meter. No idea if it's still there. Also, I have a vague recollection that if you found you were worse off financially with the meter after a certain time period, you could switch back. Have I imagined that? Whatever, I don't actually recall hearing of anyone who thought they were worse off with a meter, though I'm sure there must be some.
