Noises coming from OT is that he was more concerned about how to stop the opposition than Utd going forward. He was a defender as a player, I think it's just the way he is and he won't change.I can see him going abroad to get out of the limelight like Steve Maclaren did, or maybe Celtic if Lennon moves south... So back to the question then. Van Gaal was never likely to go to Spuds while he had a hole in his arse is the most likely response. Otta
Rafa plays boring football and doesn't change things (especially not in a positive way) when things need changing. I know he's much loved at Liverpool, and I think he's a good man, but his footy didn't do much for me.Yes the champs league win was incredibly exciting, but he can hardly be credited with masterminding a second half come back from being 3-0 down. Jah Lush
Yeah, I think that was more of a Gerrard inspired comeback. Still, he has it on his CV so it definitely works in his favour but please not at Spurs. Otta
And all of a sudden the team will remember that they're highly paid footballers and win the last 4 matches now they've gotten rid of the mean man that made them work hard. Otta
I don't really see why they're insisting on experience at the top level. Giggs knows the club better than most, and he'd have SAF backing him, don't see why they don't just give him a go. Good luck to Giggs though. He may not be the chosen one but he is the one who chooses to shag his brother's wife. ????
Given that he's mates with SAF and with a budget he'd be as good as anyone in Italy, I think BFS is the obvious choice for Utd (or Arsenal) or Norwich, etc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/107/#findComment-741707 Share on other sites
