Well look at Palace. Pulis is a hero I expect for rescuing a team from certain relegation. He left Stoke because they were bored with PL mid tableness. This West Ham academy of football is now a myth. When did you last play up to your expectations? Frankly Man City play the football we like now and we know why. Money. They can buy great players and have a manager who can mould them into a team.

After that there are clubs who aren't quite there yet and who may never be. Liverpool and Everton are examples. Arsenal,Chelsea & United will improve. But WH's aims are to stay in the PL. If moving to the Olympic Stadium changes their profile then maybe they too can hope for top 4 status. However, only one team can win the league and finishing 4th shouldn't be any consolation. I blame UEFA for that.

West ham are a bigger team than palace and stoke in terms of resources, support and heritage ( academy or not), we should be aspiring to more than them. BFS can,t even attract decent players to us, his tactics are one dimensional he,s made a hash of transfers with a pretty good budget, he's been rude about our support....where do we start on what a failure he,s been for long term progress for west ham, especially this season. A lucky play off victory, thanks Sam now fuck off.

I still think we,ll be lucky to stay up this season.

Too big a gap imo. With City and Chelsea playing each other, Liverpool could also close the gap on one or both of them.

I still think Liverpool will have a big say in who does/doesn't win the League, as they have to play the top 3 at home, where their record is very good...

It isn't. It just the sort of crap you would write if you were me.

    • Good grief that could have been awful and lets hope no-one in the vehicle was injured either. Interesting use of "not operated by the council" in the councillor post. The council outsources collection doesn't it so doesn't actually operate any bin lorries any more?
    • Crikey, that's bad. Yes, from the photo it looks like it skidded. A private operator apparently, so not Veolia. No information as to whether anybody was hurt, but unless there are mitigating circumstances (eg the driver suffered a sudden health incident or the brakes failed, though it shouldn't have been going fast enough to need the brakes at that point, surely) it looks like a prosecution for a driving offence is likely? Do vehicles like this have some kind of technology which retains the speed history etc?
    • PECKHAM PODCAST #12 If you know anyone with a child who has Long Covid then this story is for you. On PECKHAM PODCAST’s latest edition, Louise Dickinson tells her story of ‘daring to hope’. In 2020 she was happily working with young people in Camberwell at the Blue Elephant Theatre. Then she got Covid which turned into Long Covid. 5 years later she is Artistic Director of Alchemise Theatre, her own theatre company dedicated to children with Long Covid.
    • It’s good to see local councillors are taking this crash seriously, hopefully the police will also. The tyres marks left on the road suggest speed could have been a factor. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FaPQjGu7x/?mibextid=wwXIfr
