Parkdrive
I remember reading a book by David Niven some years back, recounting his days in Hollywod during it's heyday. He recounted a powerful movie mogul who came from eastern europe ( I think) and had a particularly heavy accent. He was often ridiculed by the stars of the day because of this and had a particularly short fuse. One one accasion, Niven recounts, the guy in question rounded on those mocking him and said " You think I know f**k nothing!!! Let me tell you I know f**k all!!!!!!!!!!!" uncleglen
jacks09 - the US band Devil Driver had 'I could (f-ing) care less' as a slogan on a T shirt. It means that one actually cares to the max as there is scope for one to care less- and I couldn't care less means you do not care at all......Someone I know who really does give a damn wears the T shirt frequently Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3501-malapropisms/page/4/#findComment-768087 Share on other sites

Loz
Actually, after a little googling to check that name, it seems it was originally called duck tape when it was invented in WW2. After the war it became widely used to wrap air ducts and the name duly changed. So both are considered correct.
