Looking for students to tutor!

Hi everyone,

I’m Alfie and I offer 11+, 13+ and 16+ exam preparation, and also GCSE tutoring for maths, physics and biology.

I am currently going into my third year studying for a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Durham University. At A-Level, I achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Physics, Biology and Economics, and I have 11 GCSEs at grade 9. I also have a DBS certificate.

I am an experienced tutor and would love to take on more clients both in-person and online. My rate is £35 an hour, but this is negotiable if need be.

I have tutored four students, GCSE maths and physics, from a range of backgrounds, who all achieved grade 7s or above, having previously been predicted 4s and 5s. I have also tutored pre-GCSE students in maths and physics to help them keep the ball rolling and do well in end-of-year assessments.

If you are interested, feel free to contact me on 07482 457938.

Many thanks,

Alfie

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
