Smiley_blue_1234
Hi! Does anyone know how to dispose of the below in the most environmental friendly way please? - worn out trainers (I heard Nike started to recycle them but they are not Nike so don’t think they would accept them) - babybel cheese wax (I don’t want to reuse it to make a candle 😉) Thank you!!! Earl Aelfheah
There are usually shoe and trainer recycling 'bins' - think there is one by the Plough pub. I don't think there is much you can do with babybel wax - it's not recyclable. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/350075-wherehow-to-dispose-old-trainers-and-babybel-cheese-wax-thanks/#findComment-1677470 Share on other sites
Sally Eva
https://therecycledcandlecompany.co.uk/pages/recycling This says candle wax and shows pix of white candles but it doesn't say the waxmust be white. You could mail and ask them 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/350075-wherehow-to-dispose-old-trainers-and-babybel-cheese-wax-thanks/#findComment-1677490 Share on other sites

sunbob
There are trainer and other recycling bins in Decathlon Surrey quays. I can't remember exactly all the products accepted. Also, in case anyone's interested, you can get a freepost envelope to recycle disposable razors via Gillette and terracycle. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/350075-wherehow-to-dispose-old-trainers-and-babybel-cheese-wax-thanks/#findComment-1677522 Share on other sites
