Recommendation needed for solicitor please!

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good solicitor with excellent communication skills for a standard (we hope) house buying scenario? We had a very painful experience a few years ago with a terrrible company who were subsequently blacklisted by every estate agent we dealt with and I'm keen not to go through the same rigmarole again...

I have used Nick Harper at Hepburns several times and found him very good. Our last purchase had to be exchanged and completed within two weeks and he was extremely efficient in meeting this deadline. They are competitively priced too.
