NOTE. Please register for rides on Eventbrite so we can limit numbers, links below.  Do not turn up for rides if you have not been able to register.

On the 31st August we have two rides, very different in character.  One is a new longish ride from Dulwich to Bishops Park. The other is a shorter ride showcasing the off-road Waterlink Way

A 17 mile loop, starting from the Dulwich Park café (Dulwich Clock Café, middle of park) at 10am. Outward route via Brockwell Park and Clapham Common to Wandsworth Bridge, then along the Thames Path to Putney Bridge for Bishop’s Park, where we will have our coffee break. Return via New King’s Rd , crossing the river for Battersea Park, and back via Clapham Common to reach Dulwich Park by 2pm.  Ride leader John S.
13 mile easy cycling route. Start/finish Peckham Square (Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, Peckham Library). Meet 10am, back at 1pm. Ride to Ladywell Fields, then up and down Waterlink Way. This is one of the nicest off-road paths in London, about 1.2 miles.  Then National Route 21 via Brookmill Park to Cutty Sark. Final leg back to Peckham via Folkstone Gardens and Bridgehouse Meadows.  Easy ride. Bit of uphill at start then downhill or flat. Lots of off road or cycle lane. Good ride for less confident cyclists – and a coffee stop at Ladywell Fields (Good Hope Café).  Bruce leading. Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe.
This ride is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/

    • Hi if anyone has some spare cutoffs message me enough to cover a area 2ft wide by 3ft tall minimum thanks
    • Laughing at the sales pitch  It has keypad entry and you can operate it from an app if you want to let your cleaner or nanny in. If you've just spent 2.2 million, can you afford a cleaner and a nanny or will the mortgage to huge to afford both?
    • LoL. Megan's food is OK.  But I admit the 20% service charge is ridiculous especially when I have been there only twice.  Both times we had to order at the counter.  It was difficult to get a tap water etc. was told by the staff in female toilets it's alright you can go a wee when they were having a good old chat in the very small toilets.   GOSH.  Where did that rant come from.
    • Good lord above. Awful stuff. When poundland opened up 😁   Brioche buns and Latte cups bouncing off of their windows and whizzing up and down Lordship lane. At one point the CO OP was relieved of two bottles of Prosecco by an absolute bounder armed with a sourdough baton.
