Metal-framed futon with sprung wooden base, mattress/cushion and cover. The cover is very plain and it really needs a throw over it. When open as a bed: L186 W78 H28cm (38cm high with 10cm mattress). When folded as a chair: H79 W78 D90cm. £20. Call Geoff on 07813787907

  Just a note of caution for you Nigello - trees planted too close to houses can cause terrible problems with subsidence.
