Hey

Pregnant with my second and looking for any recommendations for yoga classes, I went to a few when pregnant with my first but haven't done any other yoga or Pilates so needs to be beginner level! Just find my bones and ligaments really struggle with pregnancy and was almost always in pain last time around so hoping to get a bit more supple and comfortable this time!

Thanks!

I went to a Sitaram one at Kings and the instructor is called Sue Stockwell. They have stopped running the class at Kings now but it still runs at Brockwell Lido I believe, and Sue also runs classes independently I think. I would highly recommend her classes - apart from being a lovely relaxing session, I met a brilliant gang of mums who I'm still very close to 12 months later, and all of us recovered super quickly from pregnancy which we put down to the lovely yoga!

Hi Jenny

I'm also pregnant with my second, and i teach pregnancy yoga! Its on tonight and every Tuesday at Buchan Road Community Hall, Nunhead, SE15.

7.15pm to 8.15pm

We practise by candlelight and most of my students have never done yoga before, so its no problem if you haven't been for a while.

If you would like more details please contact me on [email protected] or 07940 705537, my facebook page is catherinearnoldyoga

Warm wishes

Hi all,

I run a range of group Pilates & yoga classes just up the road in Forest Hill & Sydenham, including some specialist pre-natal and post-natal classes. I also teach private classes in East Dulwich and Dulwich Village.

Please have a look at my website for the schedule and to find out a little more about what we do.

I also teach pregnancy yoga in East Dulwich!! My class is at the aptly named Push Studios every Friday 6.45 - 8pm

I've been teaching pregnancy yoga in East Dulwich for nearly five years. I teach a form of yoga called Kundalini it lends itself brilliantly to pregnancy yoga with simple postures that anyone can do and powerful meditations and mantras to give you an experience of the birth zone.

I also work as a birth doula and bring my experience of supporting women through the birth process to the class to give women a really good birth prep. You can read a bit more about me here http://doula.org.uk/content/laura-jones-doula-profile.

Aside for preparing for birth the classes give women a chance to connect to baby and wind down after a busy week.

If you'd like to come to class, you'll find us in the Push Pilates / Yoga studio which is at the back of the mews behind William Rose the butchers on Blackwater Street. You can just turn up if you'd or if you'd prefer to speak to me first give me a call or drop me a message here 07779 284527

Classes are ?50 for 6 consequetive classes or ?12 drop in.

    • Who is disrespecting the term “Blighty”   I see people questioning it’s common usage in 2025 i see people calling out organisations who use it to scam people  but the term Blighty itself? Nope “we r” in front of anything does add context mind you
    • "Blighty" is a British slang term for Britain or England, ultimately derived from the Urdu word "vilāyatī," meaning "foreign" or "European," according to Wiki, and was mainly used in the 19th Century and then WWI. It is thus a non English loan word. But I'm sure you knew that.
    • Forum members not knowing or disrespecting the term "good old Blighty' need to give their lack of  educational heads a wobble!
    • I didn't ask you whether or not Brexit happened! I am sadly only too well aware that it did! I asked you what were its positive effects! I'm not able to quote the whole post I'm referring to and your answer, apparently, so here's a screenshot .  You don't seem to have answered anything I asked?
