So proud of her!

I started tutoring S last September in Spanish, when her predicted GCSE grade was a terrible 1.  Because her school did the EBAC, her mum preferred tutoring to dropping MFL.

With just one hour a week of tutoring (90 mins from Easter), she has passed her Spanish GCSE!!!!

This is the second year I have helped a student in this situation; last year I helped J get from a grade 2 to a grade 4.

If your child is about to go into year 10 or 11 and is predicted to fail either Spanish or French GCSE, I can help.

I am a primary school teacher with a languages specialism (French/Spanish graduate) and reckon I can help your child pass their languages GCSE.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
