I downloaded and ran a product from "Major Geeks" My computer is now continually re-booting in a loop and will not start normally

I am housebound and unable to deliver the computer to a repair shop/person.

Does anyone know of a computer repair person that does home visits.

Many thanks for your reply

I tried this but cannot boot into safe mode

Message I get Your PC couldn't start properly

After multiple tries the operating system on your PC failed to start and needs to be repaired.

Error Code: 0xc0000001

You'll need to use recovery tools. if you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your administrator or PC/device manufacturer. (Which I don't have)

Press enter to try again    (This did not work)

Press F8 for start up settings   (Tried all settings  1-9 without effect)

Thank you for your  reply. I believe i need to re-install Windows 10 from disc

    • Wouldn't it make more sense to ask the guy who posted the rumours for the source of the information? The Crown & Greyhound refurb was a big job - not surprising that it took longer than just a simple repainting. But renovating the Grove would be even bigger because it's totally wrecked, and there's a shortage of skilled labour and much more expensive materials now...
    • Rather bizarrely, I received a text from TJ surgery offering this service. To be clear, no data was asked for in the text so I don't suspect a scam but surely this is dodgy? Where does my DNA info end up and who would have access? I'm going to the surgery on the invite date to ask precisely this.
    • I used Emmaus https://emmaus.org.uk/slc/ to clear my grandfathers house last year. They were great. They all charge for this service so will come and give you a quote first.
    • Hi, does anyone know of any charities or companies that can come and clear your house to be donated for a good cause? I know the British heart foundation does but wondering if there are others? We are moving overseas and hoping to donate most of our belongings in one swoop if we can! Thanks.
