Set Furniture Needed

Hi

We're a group of young people/students making a short film which will be entered into the festival circuit for 2014. We've secured a studio, our equipment and we have a really good team. The only thing were short of is the furniture for the set of a therapist's office.

We are looking for companies or individuals which would care to donate or loan us furniture. We can pay a small amount but as its all our own money we're mainly offering to pay full recognition (and some advertising?)through a small 'making of' film and full listing in the credits etc. We would only need the furniture for one weekend. Advice and recommendations are also welcome.

Please contact Ella on 075058568830 or [email protected]

Thanks!

    • It's not Thames Water's responsibility to keep Peckham Rye free of water, no. But the recent works designed to to hold water in the park: “capturing about 6 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of surface water and releasing it very slowly”, where undertaken to stop houses from flooding. The increased risk of houses flooding is the result of a drainage and sewage system which are in dire need of upgrading / modernising, and unable to cope. And this, Thames Water are responsible for. We are paying for the under investment, over many, many years of the privatised water companies. In cash terms - funding the works to modify the park, holding more water in it to mitigate the impact of underinvestment by Thames Water, and through the loss of amenity that follows from the park being waterlogged more frequently.
    • Aria helped us out this week. He replaced ballcocks in our loft tanks. These had caused a leak whilst we were away on holiday. He also installed a new radiator. Responsive to our requirements. Communication was really good, costs reasonable.  Nice guy. Very happy to recommend.
    • Well she has resigned - so it makes a change from the weeks of denial before inevitable  but if we are digging up offences from decades ago, can we revisit Badenoch hacking an MPs account?
