d2a
Just wondering if anyone else if having the same issue - reception was clear as a bell and working well yesterday until around midnight. When I tried the tv this morning, signal strength was 10% lower and no channels would tune.I am in a rubbish reception site despite being on top of a hill, because there is a block of flats and some trees directly in line of sight to Crystal Palace, but I have had reliable tuning for months until today.Aerial is confirmed ok and has not been moved. All connections tested and confirmed working.Cheers Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34867-freeview-tv-reception-today-010813/ Share on other sites

Bic Basher
As an aside, you'll need to retune your Freeview boxes or tv's today to regain Film4 as I found out this morning. polla2256
It sounds like a 4g issue this week the 800mhz band was activated for mobile telecoms. This is close to freeview bands and is a known issue. There is website https://at800.tv they will fit the necessary equiment to eliminate the interference for free I think. d2a
Spoken to at800 - they are sending a filter in the post. Will update if this solves the problem. Surprised I'm the only one, but maybe people with borderline reception have already moved to cable/satellite. Thanks for the contributions. If nothing else it's made me realise how much telly i watch... polla2256
Can you give details of the interference ? I have no major issues but have seen the odd colour bar issue, slight ghosting etc but only for brief moments when changing channel. d2a
as above - box reports signal strength as 10% lower than before. No channels will tune. Previously had very occasional blocking and breakup of picture due to trees moving in the wind or helicopters(!) but no other issues. d2a
Glad to hear it - I think it should only be an issue if you have a weak or obstructed signal like me. Probably lots of places on the north side of denmark hill that have similar line of sight to me...
