Recommended Posts

This vintage industrial style desk and bench is a perfect addition to any living room or home office.

£175 or nearest offer

The solid wood construction give it a natural and rustic feel, while the sturdy metal legs provide a touch of industrial charm.

Originally purchased for £300 from the workshop of locally based carpenter, Jake Dunn, in Crystal Palace (https://jakedunndesigns.uk/), this stylish desk and bench combination is used but in very good condition.

There is some minor discolouration to a small patch of the desk top (shown in photos).

Available for local collection from SE26.

The desk measurements are:

Height: 75 cm

Width: 100 cm

Depth: 38 cm

The bench measurements are

Height: 45 cm

Width: 79 cm

Depth: 24 cm (Seat) / 34 cm (Legs)

The bench fits comfortably underneath the desk and so can be stored away easily to maximise space when not in use.

The desk and bench are both free-standing and require no assembly, making them easy to use right away.

This handmade desk and bench unit is perfect for those who want a unique and rustic feel in their living space.

    • I’d also like to reiterate the above. I called Paul after seeing the recommendation here. He came the next day. Found a fix for a problem with the wiring for my fridge/freezer. He was quick to respond, totally constructive and very reasonably priced. Paul will now be my go to electrician and I’d be happy to recommend him. Kate (Paul Edgley 07802 627967)
    • Please get in touch, I have your belongings.
    • We left behind a Brickhouse fabric tote bag (white, black handles) with a sketchbook and pastels/markers/ brushes at Perks & White at Herne Hill station yesterday at about 8.45am. Sadly it has not been handed in to the Cafe or station staff. The drawings and sketches are a collection we have built over a long period so of huge sentimental value. If anyone comes across this would be grateful if they could let me me know. A photo of the sketchbook and bag behind attached (just before I realised I had left it behind) Many thanks!
    • I was under the impression that a local councillor lives in that street. Presumably then, the council are already aware.
